To enable Single Sign-On (SSO) in Humand through Microsoft, a global administrator from your organization needs to grant the necessary permissions to the Humand application within Azure Active Directory. This step is essential for team members to authenticate using their Microsoft accounts.
Before you start, make sure you have:
• Global Administrator Role in Microsoft 365 / Azure AD.
• Access to the Azure management console (https://portal.azure.com).
• Access to the 3 Humand environments (Admin, Web, Mobile).
Additionally, before granting the necessary permissions, you first need to enable External Login (SSO) from Humand's settings. To complete this process, you can refer to the following article: 📚 How do I activate Single Sign-On (SSO)?
For Microsoft SSO to work on Humand Web, Humand Admin, and Humand APP, you need to complete the steps according to each system:
-
1. Log in to Humand App using the Microsoft SSO option.
2. This link redirects to a Microsoft page where you need to sign in and grant permissions to the Humand application for your organization.
3. Review the requested permissions. A list of permissions will be displayed, such as:
• Read the user's profile.
• Sign in on behalf of the user.
• Read user directories.
These are necessary to validate identity and sync basic data with Humand.
4. Click "Accept". This will authorize Humand to integrate login with your Microsoft environment. This action only needs to be done once.
5. Once consent is accepted, any team member with a Humand account using the same email domain can log in directly with their Microsoft account by selecting the “Sign in with Microsoft” option.
