How do I set who can edit objectives?

From the Objectives module settings, you can define which roles have permission to create, edit, and delete objectives within the community.

  • The editing restriction is set in the advanced settings of the Objectives module.

    1. Go to admin.humand.co → Objectives.
    2. Click on Settings.
    3. Find the editing restriction option and select the desired permission level.

  • You can choose from three permission levels:

Option Who can create, edit, and delete
Admins and Leaders Only admins and leaders. Owners cannot edit (except their own drafts).
Admins and Owners Only admins and owners. Leaders cannot edit.
Admins, Leaders, and Owners Everyone can create, edit, and delete objectives (standard behavior).

  • Keep the following behaviors in mind when setting up restrictions:

    • This setting does not affect progress updates: anyone with access to the objective can log progress, regardless of the selected option.

Draft objectives can always be edited by the person who created them. The restriction only applies to objectives that are in progress.

Controlling editing permissions helps you maintain the integrity of objectives in progress and ensures that changes are made by the right people.
