How can we help?

How do I reset the password of a user who forgot their password?

If a user forgot their password or can't log in to the platform, you can reset it from the Admin Panel. You can send them an email with instructions so they create a new one themselves, or generate a new password and share it with them directly.

  1. Go to admin.humand.co and open Users.
  2. Find the user and click the three-dot menu (⋮) in their row.
  3. Select Reset password.

You can also do this from the user's profile, in Actions on the user → Reset password.

  1. Choose how you want to reset the password:

    2. Check that the email shown in Enter the user's email is correct.
    3. Click Confirm.

  • Use this option when the user doesn't have an email address or needs access right away.

    1. Select Generate new password.
    2. Fill in New password and Repeat password.
    3. Click Copy to share to copy the password and send it to the user.
    4. Click Confirm.

With this option the user doesn’t receive any notification. Make sure to share the new password through a secure channel.

If the user has an email address, they can also recover their password on their own from the Humand login screen, without an administrator's help.

Resetting a password from the Admin Panel lets you restore a user's access in just a few steps, either by email or by sharing a new password with them.
