How do I create a task?

You have two ways to create a task, through the “New task” button or by adding a new task in a category.

 

 

Regardless of the way you choose to create the new task you will have to perform the following steps:

  • You must also choose an icon and you can add, if you wish, an image for its cover.

  • Describe the activity(ies) to be performed by the collaborators to complete the task. You can attach files, insert images, videos and links to complete the description.

  • It is important to have the hiring date of the collaborators configured.

    - None: The task will not be due.
    - Number of days, weeks or months, either before or after the engagement date: For example, if the category is “First day of work” and we want them to perform the “First day of work survey” task, you can set the activity to expire 1 day after the hire date, with the user's hire date being the day they start using the platform.
  • Select from the category options already created, the one that should contain the task you are creating.

  • Select whether or not to notify the collaborators to perform the task one day before the due date.

    You will only be able to modify this section if you have selected that the task is due.

  • Choose which audience the task is intended for, which collaborators you will assign it to. You can choose all users, or choose collaborators according to the segmentations of your community.

  • By activating it you can choose when to assign the task you are creating.
