How can we help?

FAQs Forms

We provide answers to the most frequently asked questions about the Forms section:

  • Titles and questions: 255 characters
    Options: 510 characters
    Answers: 2048 characters

  • Yes, agents approving or following up on a form, receive an email in their inbox informing them of a form pending review.

  • Yes, approval or follow-up agents will also receive push notifications of the procedures they need to manage and can manage them from Humand App.

  • Yes, you can have as many steps as you need.

  • At the moment we do not have the possibility to remove an approval step from the approval flow of a Form directly from the Administrator Panel, since this will affect the Requests already submitted by that form.

Our alternative is to duplicate the original form without duplicating its approval flow, in order to be able to work on a new form identical to the original one and to be able to configure different approval steps.

Just in case, after having duplicated the form, do not forget to leave the original form deactivated to work only with the new one.

  • If a user who does NOT have a direct manager needs to request leave and the form has an approval flow configured with “Direct Manager” approval, the request will remain pending indefinitely, since there is no one to approve it.

When the user does not have a direct manager and requests a form that has a direct manager, a direct manager can be assigned to approve the pending request or they can ask us, the Humand Support team, to approve the request.

  • It will also remain pending, since it has no one to approve it in this second instance.

For this second situation where the user does not have a Second Level Manager and requests a form that has a Second Level Manager approval, they can directly ask the Humand Support team to approve that request, so that it follows its approval flow.

  • As with the previous scenarios, the form will remain pending, since a user will never be able to perform his own approval. That is, if John Smith, HR manager, makes a request that in the approval flow there is a custom step in which only the same John Smith is assigned to approve, effectively his Request will also be pending approval.

If the user who requests the form is the same as the one who has to approve it, they can ask the Humand Support team to approve that request, so that it follows its approval flow.

  • Editing form responses is only possible on forms that do not have conditional jumps between sections.

That is, if the form has conditional steps according to what the user completes (if they answer such and such, go to such and such section), it cannot be modified after being submitted and therefore the functionality is disabled.
  • Yes, the user can edit the response but before the first approval. Then, each approving agent can modify or correct the form response.
  • Yes, the form is counted as completed as soon as the user submits the form.
  • Since it is not possible to reset the user's counter to 0, what we could do is:
    1. Delete some of their previous Requests from that Form, so that they are “reset” and the user has the possibility to send a response again.
⚠️ In case of deleting previous requests they will not be able to visualize that info again.

    2. In order not to lose information, you can duplicate the form, turn off the old one and activate the new one.

  • No, currently we only allow adding questions where plain text content is pasted, which does not support hyperlinks.
