We provide answers to the most frequently asked questions about the Feed section:

  • Regarding the size of the images or videos that are published on the Wall, our recommendation, beyond the size (800px x 800px should be fine), is that they have a 1:1 ratio (i.e. they should be square). In this way, the content we publish will be seen in its entirety whether it is viewed from Humand App or Humand Web.

  • 10000 is the character limit for posts on the feed.
  • Today we have configured a weight limit for uploaded attachments within the Feed module of 100mb, a size that should be sufficient for uploading high quality videos and photos of considerable length.

Although in the past we did not have this file weight limit, we realized that it was the most convenient for users, since it took them several minutes to play such large files, and they ended up having a bad experience using the app.

💡 Our recommendation, since 100mb should be enough to post high quality videos, is to either compress the media files so that they can be uploaded correctly without losing quality, or upload this content to YouTube and share the link to the video in the Feed post.
