How can we help?

What is the difference between deactivating and deleting a user?

Deactivating users from the community means that their data and activity on the platform will not be deleted, but they will no longer be able to log in with their username and password, and they can be re-entered without having lost all their information.

Deleting users from the community means that their data and activity is deleted.

What information is deleted when a user is deleted?

  • Posts on the Feed
  • Reactions on the Feed, News and Acknowledgements
  • Trainings (download before if interested)
  • User's tickets
  • Acknowledgements received
  • Marketplace posts
  • User's posts
  • User segmentations
  • Assignment as responsible for forms and ticket topics
  • References to the user in dynamic fields
  • Presence in chats of all types
  • Time off policies

What information is kept when a user is deleted?

  • Comments in Feed, News and Acknowledgements
  • Responses to Forms
  • Acknowledgements granted
  • Signed personal documents
  • Answers to surveys are also kept (but are not counted, they only appear as a complete answer).
  • Everything uploaded in the Admin (Trainings, Documents, Surveys, Forms, etc).

It is important to clarify that deactivated users have a cost, as an active user.
