How do I assign a responsible user to a Personal Documents folder?

Administrators have the ability to choose who can manage each Personal Documents folder, allowing differentiated access depending on the confidentiality level of the files.

What access and permissions do administrators and folder responsibles have?

  • Administrators: they have full access to the entire module, they can create folders, view all folders, use filters, perform bulk uploads, etc.
They can also assign responsibles to specific folders. These responsible users will only be able to manage the documents within the folders they are responsible for (multiple users can be selected for the same folder.)

  • Responsibles: they have access to the Personal Documents module only because they have been assigned as responsible for one or more folders.
They will be able to view and perform bulk uploads within those folders, as well as upload files and assign them to any collaborator.

Responsible users may NOT create new folders, add new managers, edit the folder name or delete the folder.

To assign a responsible person to a Personal Documents folder you must follow the steps below:

1. Log in to Humand Admin.

2. Go to the Personal Documents section.

3. Once inside, identify the folder and click on the three dots. Then, click on "Assign responsible".

4. Then, you must select those users that you want to assign as responsible for that folder. Finally, click on "Assign".

5. And that's it! Those collaborators are now assigned to the folder. Now those users will be able to access the Administrator Panel to manage that particular folder.
