This feature allows People Experience administrators to create, customize, and manage response scales for "scale" type questions. Organizations can adapt scales—like Likert models, levels of agreement, or custom ranges—to align with their culture, communication style, and internal metrics.
The goal is for each company to use scales that feel natural, are clear to their employees, and are consistent with how they measure favorability and other metrics.
Scales can be created or selected from various points in the system:
- From the Scale Bank.
- From the Question Bank, when creating or editing a question.
- From the questionnaire creation form, while building a survey.
- Directly by associating a scale with a question, choosing an existing one or creating a new one on the spot.
To create a scale, you should:
1. Access one of the options mentioned above, for example, the Question Bank from Humand Admin. Then click on "New Scale +".
2. Here you can fill out all the fields and settings for the scale:
- Name
- Options
- Format
- Favorability settings
You also have the option to exclude neutrals and reverse the order of favorability.
3. Once the fields are completed, click on "Create Scale," and you're done! The scale will now be available for use in your experience surveys.
