Custom roles let you group permissions and assign them to a set of people. Creating a custom role is divided into four steps.
- Go to admin.humand.co.
- Navigate to Settings → Roles and Permissions.
- Click on Create custom role.

Set the name of the role and, optionally, a description explaining its purpose.

Choose who will have this role. You have two ways to assign members, and you can combine them:
Type How it works Specific collaborators Manually select by name from a list. You can add up to 100 collaborators. Segmentation groups Set rules (e.g., department = Marketing, country = Argentina) and the system will automatically assign the role to everyone who meets those conditions. If someone new joins who meets the criteria, they’ll automatically get the role. -
Select what each person with this role can do. Permissions are grouped by module (News, Users, Surveys, etc.). For each one, you can see its description and whether it applies to the App or the Admin Panel.

You only need to select the permissions relevant to the role’s function. You don’t have to configure every module.

Review a summary of your configuration. From this screen, you can go back to any step to make changes.
When everything’s ready, click Activate role. Assigned members will get their permissions right away.
