When a clock-in shows the status “Location not available”, it means the device didn’t provide a geolocation at that specific moment.
The location is requested independently for each clock-in.
If the device can’t get a signal at that moment, the clock-in is saved without a location.
This can happen even if other clock-ins from the same user do have a location.
The most common reasons are:
Location permissions are turned off in the operating system or the app.
GPS is off or there’s no signal at the time of clock-in.
Unstable connectivity.
Temporary issues with the device’s location services.
Geolocation depends on the device’s status at the time of clock-in.
