How can we help?

How does the multiple matches flow work in Touchless Kiosk and how can they be resolved?

In Attendance Control (Kiosk Touchless), the system may sometimes detect more than one possible match when recognizing a face.

This is called multiple matches.

  1. What does it mean?

When an employee tries to clock in, the system compares their face with the registered images.

If it finds more than one employee with a similarity above the threshold, it can't identify them automatically.

In that case:

  • A list of possible people is shown.

  • The user manually selects their name.

  • The clock-in is recorded as usual.

  1. Why does it happen?

This can happen when:

  • The images of different employees look similar.

  • The uploaded photo is low quality.

  • There are lighting or camera angle issues.

  • Enrollment wasn't done under proper conditions.

  1. How can an admin fix it?

If multiple matches happen often, the admin can:

🔁 Reset the employee's facial recognition image from the Admin Panel so they can redo the enrollment process.

This lets you update the image and improve recognition accuracy.
