In Attendance Control (Kiosk Touchless), the system may sometimes detect more than one possible match when recognizing a face.
This is called multiple matches.
- What does it mean?
When an employee tries to clock in, the system compares their face with the registered images.
If it finds more than one employee with a similarity above the threshold, it can't identify them automatically.
In that case:
A list of possible people is shown.
The user manually selects their name.
The clock-in is recorded as usual.
- Why does it happen?
This can happen when:
The images of different employees look similar.
The uploaded photo is low quality.
There are lighting or camera angle issues.
Enrollment wasn't done under proper conditions.
- How can an admin fix it?
If multiple matches happen often, the admin can:
🔁 Reset the employee's facial recognition image from the Admin Panel so they can redo the enrollment process.
This lets you update the image and improve recognition accuracy.
