As an administrator, you can modify the dates of already approved absence requests without needing to cancel them and create a new one.

You can only change the dates of the request (start and end date). You cannot change:
- Type of absence
- Assigned approvers
- Attached documents
If you need to change the type of absence, you’ll need to cancel the request and create a new one.

To edit the dates of an already approved request:
- Go to the Vacations and Leave module from app.humand.co or the mobile app.
- Go to Management > Requests and select the approved request you want to modify.

Click on Edit request.
- Update the dates as needed.
- Save your changes.
The system will automatically recalculate the employee’s balances and send them a notification about the update.

- Absence balances for the employee are updated automatically.
- The employee receives a notification by email and in the notification center.
- No new approval flow is triggered: the request remains approved with the updated dates.
This action is only available to administrators. Employees and approvers cannot directly edit approved requests.
This feature makes it easy to correct mistakes without interrupting the approved status of the request or requiring a new approval cycle.
