Humand lets you customize how the platform looks by choosing between three display modes: Light, Dark, or System. Your preference is saved per device and stays the same even if you log out or switch communities.

- Go to your Profile from the bottom menu.
- Tap on Preferences.
- Select the Appearance section and choose your preferred mode.
- The change is applied instantly across the entire platform.

The available options are:
| Mode | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Light | Humand always displays in light mode, regardless of your device settings. |
| Dark | Humand always displays in dark mode, regardless of your device settings. |
| System | Humand follows your operating system or browser settings. If your device switches modes, Humand will automatically adjust. |
Your preference is saved per device and does not sync across devices. Your phone and computer can have different settings. Your community's brand color stays the same no matter which mode you choose.
To change your preference on another device, just repeat these steps on that device.
