How do I set the maximum progress and update restrictions in a goal cycle?

When creating or editing a goal cycle, Humand offers advanced configuration options to control how employees record progress on their goals.

  • You can set the maximum completion percentage that employees can record for their goals within a cycle. Once set, Humand will not allow anyone to report progress above the defined limit.

    To set this up:

    1. Go to the Admin Panel → Goals.
    2. Create a new cycle or edit an existing one.
    3. In the advanced settings section, enable Maximum Progress and enter the percentage limit (for example, 120%).
    4. Save your changes.

This limit applies to all goals in the cycle. Employees can report any value up to that maximum, but not exceed it.

  • When this option is enabled, only managers can update the progress of their team members' goals. Employees themselves will no longer be able to record progress on their own.

    To enable this:

    1. Go to the Admin Panel → Goals.
    2. Create a new cycle or edit an existing one.
    3. In the advanced settings section, turn on Restrict Progress Updates.
    4. Save your changes.

With this restriction enabled, employees can view the progress of their goals but cannot modify it. Only their managers will be able to record progress.
