If your organization operates in Colombia, you can set up Vacation and Leave policies with disability codes predefined by Colombian law. When you enable this option, employees must select the appropriate code when requesting a disability-related absence, ensuring traceability and regulatory compliance.

This feature is only available for communities that have Colombia set as their region.
- Go to the Admin Panel.
- Access the Vacation and Leave settings.
- Select Colombia from the list of regional countries. When you do this, the Disability policy type is automatically enabled as an available option.

- Create or edit a Disability policy.
- Turn on the Disability Codes toggle within the policy settings.
- Save your changes.
The codes are predefined by the Humand team according to Colombian regulations and cannot be edited from within the community.

When creating a request under a policy with codes enabled, the employee will see a search field (autocomplete) where they can search by numeric or alphanumeric code, or by the name of the disability.
The selected code will be visible in the request details, both for the employee and for you in the admin panel.
The search is not case-sensitive.

If the community has at least one policy with Colombia regionalization enabled, the disability code field is automatically added to the "Request Fields" list in the Advanced Report for Vacation and Leave.
If the policy does not have the codes toggle enabled, the field will not appear in the employee's request and will not be included in the report.
