The Statistics module lets you narrow down metrics to a subset of collaborators by combining up to 5 segmentations from your community. This way, you can analyze specific audiences instead of always seeing the overall organization aggregate.

1. Go to admin.humand.co → Statistics.
2. In the Users or Activity tabs, click Filter, located to the right of the action bar.

The filter is only available in the Users and Activity tabs.

• When you click Filter, the Filter by panel opens, showing the full list of segmentations set up in your community, collapsed by default.

  1. Click on the name of a segmentation to expand it. You can have several expanded at the same time.
  2. Within each segmentation, use the Search field or the Select all option to check the items you want to include. Select all will show a partial state if only some items are selected.
  3. Below the name of each segmentation with selections, you'll see the number of items chosen.
  4. Click Apply. The panel will close, the metrics, tables, and charts in the active tab will recalculate, and the Filter button will show a counter with the number of segmentations applied.
  
  

  If you close the panel without clicking Apply (using the X, the Esc key, or clicking outside the panel), your changes won't be saved.

• You can combine up to 5 segmentations at once. When you reach the limit, you can still expand the remaining segmentations, but their items will be disabled and a message will appear at the top of the panel letting you know you need to remove a segmentation to add another.

  The combination logic works as follows:

  Relationship	How it works
  Between different segmentations	Combined with AND. The collaborator must meet all selected segmentations.
  Between items in the same segmentation	Combined with OR. It's enough for the collaborator to belong to any of the selected items.

  For example, if you select Area: HR, Hierarchy: Employees, and Mode: On-site, Remote, the result will show collaborators who belong to HR, are Employees, and work either on-site or remotely.

• Inside the panel, click Clear to deselect all items. The panel will close, applying the no-filter state, and the Filter button will return to its default state.

  While the filter is applied, you can switch between the Users and Activity tabs without having to reselect it: your selection will be kept and each tab will recalculate its own metrics.

  Filters are only kept during your active session in the module. If you reload the page or leave Statistics, they will be cleared automatically and you'll see the overall aggregate again when you return.

The Exclude deactivated users toggle applies to the results already filtered by segmentation; it doesn't replace the segmentation filter. If you want to exclude deactivated users in addition to filtering by segmentation, turn it on along with the filter.
