How do I set the department, position, direct manager and replacement for a job?

When you create a job in Recruitment, you can link it to your organization's structure: the department and position set up in Humand, the vacancy's direct manager and, if it's a backfill, the employee being replaced. This way you have all the information about the search in one place.

To enter this information:

  1. In Humand Web, go to Recruitment and click New Job.
Recruitment Jobs list with the New Job button
  1. In the General settings step, complete the Organizational structure and Vacancy Details sections as explained below.
  • In Department (required) and Position (optional) you choose among your community's departments and positions, the same ones set up in admin.humand.co → Settings → Departments and Positions.

The department is shown on the careers site.

  • In Direct manager (optional), search for and choose the person who will lead the new hire.

This information is internal: it isn't shown in the job posting or to candidates.

  • In Reason for hiring (optional), indicate whether the vacancy is a New Headcount or a Backfill.

If you choose Backfill, the Employee being replaced field appears, where you can choose the person leaving the position. This information is also internal: it isn't shown in the job posting or to candidates.

When you complete the rest of the settings, click Create and continue to move on to the process stages. For the full step-by-step on creating a job, see How to Create a Job?
