From the job view, you can see all the candidates loaded, filter them by status and stage, and manage each one's progress through the selection process.

When you enter a job, you'll see the header with key information and the candidate table.
The filters divide candidates into three groups:
Status What it shows Table columns Active Candidates in progress. You can also filter by specific stage (e.g. Profile Review, Interview, Offer). Click on any candidate in the table to open their detail view. The view changes depending on the candidate's status:
- Active: The current stage is expanded, and the rest are collapsed.
- Rejected: All stages are collapsed, and a banner shows the stage, date, and reason for rejection.
- Hired: The hiring summary is displayed.
From the secondary header, you can view and edit:
- Application source
- Cell phone number — clicking opens WhatsApp Web
- Email — clicking opens your email client

From the candidate detail, click Advance to move them to the next stage.
When advancing, you need to set:
Field Description Stage By default, the next stage is shown, but you can skip intermediate stages. Advancement date Sets the end date for the current stage and the start date for the new one. Default is today. You can set past dates (not future dates). Once you confirm the advancement, you can't edit the date or the destination stage.

From the candidate detail, click Reject.
When rejecting, you need to set:
Field Description Rejection reason Select from the options predefined by Humand. Rejection date This also sets the end date for the last stage. Default is today. You can set past dates (not future dates). Once you confirm the rejection, you can't edit the reason or the date. The candidate moves to the Rejected filter, and the stage they were in is recorded as the rejection stage.

To hire a candidate, move them to the Offer accepted stage and mark the hire from there.
When hiring, you need to set:
- Hiring date
- Start date (employment start date)
Once hired, the candidate moves to the Hired filter.

From the job detail, you can combine the search bar and filters to find exactly the candidates you need:
- Name search: filters in real time by first and/or last name across all status tabs (Active, Hired, and Rejected).
- Source: filters by the channel they applied through (job portal, manual entry, etc.).
- Application date: filters by the date range when they submitted their application.
All these filters can be combined with each other and with the existing status and stage filters.

If you need to delete a hired candidate, click on the relevant job and find the candidate with Hired status.
- Open the candidate's application and click the three dots (⋮).
- Select Delete and confirm the action.
When you delete the candidate, the linked Job Opening automatically returns to Open status, making it available to assign to another candidate.
- You can also directly delete applications with Rejected status to keep your searches organized, without needing to reactivate them first.
- Click on the relevant job and find the candidate with Rejected status.
- Open the candidate's application and click the three dots (⋮).
- Select Delete and confirm the action.
If you need to merge two records for the same candidate, delete one and edit the remaining profile.
